PockyDoc Website and Cross-Platform Mobile Application is collectively referred hereinafter as “Interface”.
1. User Cancellation:
i. Users may cancel any consultation placed on the Interface, provided that the consultation has not yet been initiated by Doctor or PockyDoc. In the event consultation has been initiated, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
ii. However, to initiate cancellation prior to consultation, the User can contact PockyDoc’s customer support team or follow the cancellation process provided on the PockyDoc’s website.
2. PockyDoc Cancellation:
i. PockyDoc reserves the right to cancel any consultation in the event the Doctors are not available, or the Services cannot be provided by PockyDoc, or incorrect information related to Doctor or Services including but not limited to inaccuracies or errors in pricing information on the PockyDoc website.
ii. In such cases, PockyDoc will notify the User promptly and provide suitable alternatives, if available.
3. Bulk Consultations:
i. PockyDoc reserves the right to cancel consultations that are classified as ‘Bulk Consultations based on criterias determined at its sole discretion.
ii. A consultation can be classified as a ‘Bulk Consultation’ if it meets the following criteria (non-exhaustive list):
a. The consultations ordered are intended for commercial resale rather than personal consumption.
b. The scheduling of multiple consultations at the same time for a single patient indicates a potential multi-consultation factor.
c. An invalid or incomplete Patient Information is provided in the consultation details, hindering proper consultation.
d. Any fraudulent or unethical practices are employed to place the consulation.
iii. In such cases, PockyDoc will notify the User about the cancellation and such reasons for the same.
4. Cancellation Charges:
i. While PockyDoc’s general cancellation cum refund policy states that no cancellation charges shall be levied for cancellations or refunds made in accordance with the policy, there may be certain exceptions where cancellation charges may apply. The
se exceptions include:
a. Cancellations made three (3) hours or more prior to the scheduled consultation time:
b. Cancellations made less than three (3) hours prior to the scheduled consultation time:
A refund of fifty percent (50%) of the consultation fee shall be provided, excluding service fees, which are non-refundable.
c. Cancellations made after the scheduled consultation time:
No refund shall be provided in such cases, and the entire consultation fee shall be forfeited.
5. Refund Process:
i. In the event of a valid cancellation, PockyDoc will process refunds strictly in accordance with the refund scenarios set forth under Clause 1.4 (Cancellation Charges). Users are advised to refer to both policies for clarity on applicable refunds.
ii. The refund will be initiated through the original payment method used during the consultation placement or the User’s registered bank account, as may be required basis the circumstances.
iii. The time required for the refund to reflect in the User’s account may vary depending on the payment provider and banking processes, over which PockyDoc has no control.
6. Amendment or Changes:
i. PockyDoc reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this cancellation cum refund policy at any time without prior notice.
ii. Any changes to the cancellation cum refund policy will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on the Interface.
7. By using the Interface and placing consultation, the User had expressly acknowledged and irrevocably agreed to be bound by this cancellation cum refund policy in effect at the time of placing such consultations.
8. The User hereby affirms that he/she have thoroughly reviewed, comprehended, and accepted all applicable terms and conditions, including the relevant policies, prior to placing any consultation on the Interface. The User expressly agrees to be bound by the applicable cancellation cum refund policy.
9. PockyDoc shall bear no responsibility and shall not be held liable for any claims, disputes, or losses arising as a result of the User’s failure to review or understand said cancellation cum refund policy.
